How to spray curves! Step by Step |

When taking clients, we want to make sure we can tackle anyone who comes through our doors and in our tents!

So when spraying curvy clients, you  have to spray a little different than your normal technique.

I always reference to "little tea pot" song and dance which helps clients and artists understand it a little more and feel less conscious.

LETS BEGIN!

How we spray with Deity, is starting from the back.

BACK

You'll spray the back side normally, and then have the clients put their arms straight up. You'll then spray the areas that you see are white. SPRAY - DRY - POWDER that area.

You may feel weird using powder at this time since we usually do it at the end, but it'll help so much with transfer of solution.

Next, tell client to stick their butt out. Some clients will touch their toes, some clients will barely poke it out. Either is okay! Spray where you see it white. SPRAY - DRY - POWDER that area.

Example of what it looks like when we don't expose and spray the area -

SIDES

Now you'll have your client turn to the side, and have their arm go all the way up. Spray them as usual. Then have them learn towards the back of the tent, and spray where you see white lines. SPRAY - DRY - POWDER that area.

REPEAT with other side.

FRONT

Spray the font as normal. Then have your client extend their their arms all the way up, to expose the space underneath their breast. Spray where you see white lines. SPRAY - DRY - POWDER that area.

Depending on your client's physique, you may want them to lung forward in case any area on their legs may not be as dark as the rest of their body.

Keep in mind, places of high friction are going to fade faster. But with our technique it can help clients feel more comfortable when they're going to the pool, being naked and don't have excessive tan lines. I always explain to clients we spray them in their natural state but will take extra measures to ensure a beautiful tan.

Hope this was helpful for you guys!
